Political Violence and the Disturbing Lack of Awareness.

The atrocities of the world are a terrible crime, but it is even worse to forget they happened. I missed the anniversary by 17 days, sorry… But Tiananmen Square should not be forgotten and yet it has. It has only been 20 years, within most of our lifetimes and yet we have forgotten it. It’s a sad day when such hardship and such strength was shown by students determined to chain the wrongs in the world and yet they are thrown to the un-read pages of history. Acts such as the political protests in Iran and around the world should be known. The cries of the repressed looking for freedom that no one will help deliver ring around the world with no one to listen. Taking action is a choice and an important one. By keeping these people that have sacrificed in our minds keeps the fight and meaning behind it alive. You will not care in a year or two about the newest shirt you bought or getting the newest style of cell phone. Please don’t let these things fill your mind. take a min to actually remember the people that have suffered and died for not only the things you have now, but more importantly the ideal of Freedom that allows you to have the option to do what you want. I ask that everyone stop even for 30 seconds a day and pause to remember those who have died for an ideal that we take for granted.
Please watch these one from may 4,1989 the second is one from the the current development in Iran.

R.I.P…
Please be warned ed these are graphic images and if you are a miner I request that you don’t look at them or have parent advisory. You may need to log in and confirm you birth date in the second video.
